That gets us to a ballpark.
What we can't price sight unseen is anything involving the spring system or the track alignment. A broken torsion spring on a double door is a different job than a frayed cable on a single, and they look similar from the driveway. Panel damage is the same story - a dent might be cosmetic or it might mean the panel is out of square and pulling the rest of the door with it.
Most of the housing stock in this service area went up between 1966 and 2003, with a lot of it clustering in the 1980s and 90s across the fourteen areas we cover. That matters for quotes because doors and openers from that era often use hardware sizes and mounting styles that newer parts don't match without an adapter bracket or a full hardware swap.
